Has the mother-to-be had natural henna before and had any kind of reaction?
Is the mother-to-be's pregnancy high risk?
Does the mother-to-be, or their current children (if any) suffer from, or ever suffered from, the following: G6PD Deficiency (Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase Deficiency), Hyperbilirubinemia, Anaemia, any chronic or acute condition which affects the blood or immune system.
Does the mother-to-be have allergies to lemon juice?
Use water instead
Does the mother-to-be have allergies to lavender oil?
Lavender oil is the safest for use during pregnancy. I can skip the essential oil, however the stain won't be as dark.
